Description
Went during vacation on a visit to the coastal town of Falkenberg, Sweden. During a walk in the town I ended up at this place...Hope you will enjoy!
It has a HDR feel to it!
Giving you also a b&w and a sepia version in the alternative download section.

The composition is perfect,
it has indeed a painterly feeling to it
Very nice!

It would be absolutely perfect without leafs in the bottom left, but anyway like them there, I like imperfections.
Top marks!

@Excorbac (et al): Would enjoy to see somebody pick up this photograph and make a real painting from it.

I like the soft tones.

ok, this is cool, it reminds me of being a kid, going to my granparents house... they had a painting like this on the wall.. the only thing i dont like is that wall? or steps on the other side of the river... nothing youve done, but very annoying whoever had them built ha
Is this HDR? it does look it, but i suppose can be achieved in camera raw

a very well deserved 9 btw... it would be 10 if not for those steps.. they are bugging me

I would give the compo a ten, but the effect doesn't work for me.
I think there is loss of depth due to lack of shadows on the right side tree.
It breaks the flow of eye around the shot.
So also the clouds in the sky are too washed out for such heavy cloud cover.
They should probably be darker. (appears much better in B&W)

Can I ask what software and settings you use to create your HDRs? Because most of the people ruin their HDRs using wrong settings.
If you can send me a PM.
Thanks in advance!
