Description
Another post (maybe my own favorite from the series) from my recent long weekend at the northern part of Sweden (Kittelfjäll, Lappland). One of the days we had superb weather conditions with a an almost blue sky, sunny weather and no wind at all.
This particular day we rented snow scooters to take us high up on the mountains. These scooters go past 100 km/hour and it is mega fun to ride one of them.
The snowy landscapes were so impressive and beautiful.
This particular photograph was elected the "travelling photograph of the week" in our local newspaper - Expressen.

The camera gear consisted of my camera (Canon 5D). Lense used was Canon 24-70 f2.8 + a polarizer filter to get that dark blue:ish sky.
Hope you will enjoy!

Like the setup. You always see such shots in relation of exploring sort of the uncharted Territory.
Now seeing people walking over snowmobile tracks is sort of killing the meaning. Don't you think?
I used a simple clone tool to get rid of this tracks.

I see it as what it is and not wanting to change the "real" view. This part of the mountains is mainly untouched ecept the tracks from us walking and also from the snow scooters passing by this mountain top. I find the tracks exciting as a matter of fact but maybe from an artistic point you are correct.
The view btw from this top was just fantastic!
Cheers!

The exposure is just perfect, and the polarized filter really worked well! I like the footprints, it shows the travelled paths.
