This is how a typical winter day looks like here in Sweden. Cloudy skys and lots of snow everywhere. The last couple of days has included lots of more snow and even more car accidents.This particular shot was captured a few weeks back straight out of the window at my office which is located a bit outside of the busy city life.

I hope the message of peacefulness and beautfy of winter is shown here.To me it reminds of a painting...

Camera: Canon EOS 300D (Rebel) + Canon 18-55 + Polarizing filter.

looks like a b/w picture.
would be great with some path in the snow in front so you get the depth feeling

Peaceful and relaxing.
I agree with Zanzibar about the snow.
As nothing is really happening there, it could be an option to crop some off.

It was taken at a place called Stora Wäsby in Upplands Väsby 40 km north of Stockholm. This is the location of where I work...

@flowjoe: I think it works better actually having this sky as it adds more to a lonely mood which I wanted to transmit here... A blue sky would have made something else but thanks for your suggestion. I will do that picture when the day is right (especially as I see this from my office window every day).

for me this picture looks nice but i have suggestion for composition ot this shoot... horizon line u put too high on this one... in my opinion on bottom of this frameing u show us too many empty space... maybe u can try make or just check other solution ?

beautiful! no footsteps in the snow disturbing the view..
i also like that there are no buildings/houses in the picture..

one thing about the composition: i agree with andrezej about the horizon line.. right now it´s in the middle of the image.. if i'm scrolling the image in the browser window, hiding either a bit of the top or the bottom of the image there are some nice possibilities..

but it looks also very peaceful as it is
